Welcome to Year 6!

Welcome to year 6- the final year at Burnside!

Across the year, the children will have a chance to consolidate all of the knowledge they have gained at their time at Burnside as well as learning new skills.

SATs will take place in May which leaves plenty of time for the children to start their transition to secondary school. We aim to equip the children with the skills they will need to make the next step of their school journey as easy as possible. There is lots of fun to be had -it’s not all about SATs and the big school! Children will be invited to take part in a three-day residential, something that you’ve never had to the chance to do before, as well as many other exciting opportunities. We aim to make the children’s final months at Burnside as enjoyable as possible so they have memories to last a lifetime.

PE Days
PE takes place on Mondays and Thursdays this half term.
