The Hive
The Hive is a hub of support within our school coordinated by Mrs Bibby.
It is a network of partners offering a range of services based within our school.
It can be accessed by parents and carers from our school community and beyond.
Children do not need to attend Burnside Primary School in order for their grown-ups to access the services available.
Support for Parents
Being a parent is the hardest and most rewarding job in the world! At times, all parents need a helping hand to work through a particular challenge or situation. This could be in relation the children, money worries or another issue affecting family life! There will be workshops and sessions organised across the year to support parents in navigating parenthood.
Special Educational Needs
Are you the parent or carer of a child with additional needs? Do you want to meet with other adults and share achievements and challenges?
Meeting with parents and carers across the local area is a great way of accessing peer parent support. In addition, the network will be visited by partners who can offer support around specific needs such as bed wetting, sleep and sensory overload.
